As the owner of an HVAC company, I have faced several issues throughout the years. Issues within the industry, and issues that come with being a small business owner. One of the most frustrating being finding good help! A good team member can help you grow your business to new heights. A bad team member can ruin your business even quicker. Like you, I had used every job search / job board websites, put up flyers at supply houses, and posted on social media. I always got the most responses from job search / job board websites, but I had to sort through so many applicants that didn’t meet my criteria! And you want to talk about expensive?! It was costing me a small fortune to get those unqualified candidates! That got me thinking. There must be a better way. This is taking up too much of my time and money. I started looking for a recruiting platform that was specific to my needs, to the trades. It wasn’t out there. It seemed simple enough. It’s not like I was asking for much. I wanted qualified candidates from my trades niche to apply. Not just anyone in the huge pool of people who could click on my job posting. I wanted there to be a way to match qualified candidates with my job post. And I wanted the process to be faster! I don’t know about you, but I have better things to do then sit and search through applications looking for the right candidate. What I was doing was painful and frankly just not working. So, with lots of hard work and input from my friends that were also in the trades, Trade Jobs was born. Our goal is to serve as the go-to recruitment platform for the trades industries. Trade Jobs will allow employers to immediately find pre-qualified candidates based on their qualifications. It also allows job seekers to find and apply for jobs that best match their skillset.
